In the lead role is Alan Tudyk he plays an alien named Harry who is sent to earth to wipe out humanity after crash landing he takes on the identity of the small town doctor in Colorado. Tudyk's performance is masterful and perhaps the most hilarious characterization of an alien since Robin Williams and Morgan Mindy the SYFY Network has renewed resident alien for a second season.

6 # THE CROWN

For those of you into historical dramas The Crown comes in at number six. Peter Morgan came up with it. This Netflix original series examines Queen Elizabeth II's reign. It follows her ascension to the throne when she was 25 after the death of her father King George V. As the story spans the 1940s to the present, the cast is changed every two seasons to represent the characters' ageing. As you would expect there's the usual pretense and formality you'd expect from a show about the royal family but there's plenty of out of character interpersonal drama to make it enjoyable to watch. Five seasons of the crown are currently available on Netflix.

5 # WARRIOR

The martial arts drama Warrior broadcast on Cinemax. Jonathan Tropper, who some of you may know as the creator of Banshee another popular television series, devised the series, which is based on the original idea by Bruce Lee. One of our favorites warrior is set in the 1870s during the Tong wars in San Francisco. It follows a martial arts prodigy as he joins one of the most powerful Tongs in Chinatown after moving to San Francisco from China in quest of his sister. If you enjoy fast-paced story lines with amazing action scenes Warrior is a must-watch the first two seasons appeared on Cinemax and will be moving to HBO Max for a third season. If you subscribe to HBO Max, the first two seasons are already available. Information on the release date for season three is still awaited.

4 # TED LASSO

This uplifting sports comedy on Apple TV Plus is a welcome diversion from the chaos in the world. It stars Jason Sedakis as Ted Lasso. He plays the coach of an American college football team who is recruited to coach an English premier league football team. Despite having no experience with likeable characters and a positive vibe. It's extremely watchable when the first season ends you'll be wanting more thankfully you don't have to wait season 2 of Ted Lasso is also available on Apple TV plus.

3 # THE BOYS

The boys the superhero anti-hero action thriller on Prime Video is based on the comic book series of the same name. It follows a team of vigilantes as they combat super powered individuals who abuse their abilities the show is far superior to those marvel

series you'd find on Netflix and Disney plus. It's full of action with less filler there are plenty of twists and turns the writing and acting is fantastic and has high production values. Three seasons of The Boys are available to watch right now on Prime Video

2 # MANDALORIAN

This action-adventure space western, set in the Star Wars universe, is by far the best Disney Plus programme. It stars Pedro Pascal in the title role he plays a lone Mandalorian bounty hunter in the outer reaches of the universe. who, after being recruited to bring the child back, flees. Since the Mandalorian is so action-packed, we actually found the series to be more enjoyable than the overly anticipated Star Wars films from the previous decade. The visuals are amazing it's well written with a great cast two seasons of the Mandalorian are available right now on Disney Plus and has been renewed for a third season still in the pre-production phase. Before it is launched, a year or two may pass.

1 # GANGS OF LONDON
