Whenever you say no, you create a barrier. You're closing all the doors. By declining, one forgoes the chance to meet new people and encounter unusual situations. Give yourself a chance and start saying yes instead of always saying no. You will be able to interact with individuals who are interested in the same things you are by doing this. You will become accustomed to being around others if you do it frequently.
